Why using the 2009 version in place of the 2006 one ?

Compatibility
The API of both engines are the same so you don't have to change the function call of your application.
Ease of installation
The installation of the new version is easy. You just have to copy the new files in place of the older ones.
Accuracy
During the developpment phase, we have run many tests. They all show that the accuracy of the new version is higher +5%.
Country independant
The 2009 version is more largely country independant. Test on large collection composed with plates from several countries shows that the accuracy is higher +10%.
Stability
The previous version sometimes produced access violation (1 image out of 10000). That bug has been fixed.
